Available in two varieties — Chamomile and Forget-me-not — each tin is designed to make growing wildflowers beautifully simple.
Inside you’ll find a peat-free coir disc made from coconut husk, a renewable by-product of the coconut industry. Just add water and it expands into rich compost. Pop the three seedballs (around 90 seeds in total) on top, keep everything well watered (moist, not soggy), and place the tin outdoors or on a sunny windowsill. Thanks to a special protective varnish, the tin is suitable for outdoor use — and with a little patience, you’ll soon have a lovely pot of wildflowers.
Our seedballs are made using native British wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and a touch of chilli powder to help protect seeds as they germinate. Chamomile and forget-me-not are compact, low-growing plants, making them ideal for smaller spaces — but they’re still rich in nectar and much-loved by bees, butterflies and other pollinators. All seeds are UK-sourced, chemical-free and pesticide-free.
Each tin features an exclusive Seedball illustration and is proudly manufactured in London from Welsh-mined tinplate by the UK’s last remaining tin can maker, using solar power. Designed to be both practical and beautiful, the tins look great on a windowsill, balcony or shelf — and can be reused again and again as plant pots, storage for herbs or succulents, or to organise everyday essentials. When they’ve truly reached the end of their life, they’re 100% recyclable.
