Meet the Merchant: The London Honey
At needi, we're drawn to businesses that do things slowly, carefully, and with real conviction. The kind that refuse to cut corners because they know the difference it makes.
That's exactly what The London Honey Company is all about.

What started with a single rooftop near Tower Bridge and a desire to bring a little countryside into the city has grown into one of Britain's most celebrated independent honey producers. Twenty-five years of slow beekeeping, sustainable sourcing, and an unwavering dedication to the craft — and every jar still tells that story.
From the Kent coast to the rolling Cotswolds to the Lancashire heather hills, this is honey made the way it should be. And we're proud to have them as part of the needi family.

25 Years of Slow Beekeeping
Some businesses move fast. The London Honey Company has always believed the best things are worth waiting for.
As migratory beekeepers, Steve and the team travel the length and breadth of the British countryside in search of the most extraordinary nectar sources the UK has to offer. Moving colonies with the seasons, working only with unspoilt farmland, and partnering with farmers who refuse pesticides and insecticides — every decision is made with the bees, and the land, in mind.
It's a philosophy that's earned them membership of Slow Food UK and accreditation with the Soil Association. And honestly? You can taste the difference.

Honey Like You've Never Tasted It
The London Honey Company's own-brand range of pure British honeys is anything but ordinary. Single origin, unpasteurised, minimally filtered — each jar captures the unique flavour of its landscape, from Ling Heather to Kent Beach to Wiltshire Wildflower.
And if you fancy something a little more adventurous, their Infused Honey Range brings in flavours like Ginger & Turmeric, Italian Black Truffle, and Smoked Mexican Chipotle. Ten Great Taste Awards later, the proof is well and truly in the jar.

Trusted by the Best
Fortnum & Mason. The Tate Galleries. The Victoria & Albert Museum. Selfridges. Harrods. The London Honey Company has quietly built a reputation as the go-to for Britain's most discerning institutions — and they've done it without ever compromising on what matters.
Still family-run. Still fiercely independent. Still doing it properly after 25 years.
